The Quinta is part of Sintra/Cascais Natural Park, which is classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The Quinta is conveniently situated between the historic center of Sintra and the picturesque and cosmopolitan town of Cascais. Nearby is Lisbon for effortless travel as well as art, culture and all other attractions of a large European city.

The Quinta is a certified organic farm and guests may pick their own oranges straight from the trees or try the produce from the ground or off the vine.

Your hosts are Quinta owners, Gabriela and Fernando Reino, who are now retired from Portuguese diplomatic career. Guests are made to feel at home and may be welcomed in Portuguese, English, French or Spanish.

My husband and I wanted a nice place to visit where we would have a home base and feel as though we were a part of the country we were visiting and this place really did the trick! We picked fruit off trees and ate it - we had excellent conversation with our hosts - we got great advice about where to go and what to see in Portugal and in all Europe.
