many just minutes away from Quinta do Rio Touro. Some are small and isolated,
while others are vast, offereing restaurants and windsurfing.

- family oriented, with a restaurant specializing in fish and shellfish.
- Azenhas do Mar
- very cozy with a natural ocean pool with an escellent restaurant specializing
in fish and shellfish.
- Cascais
- Pescadores and Rainha - urban, very cosmopolitan.
- Estoril
- Tamariz - very cosmopolitan with excellent infrastructures.
- Guincho
- a vast sandy beach, very diversified, with pools, bars, excellent restaurants,
world know windsurfing and bodyboard competitions.
- Magoito - family oriented.
- Praia Grande
- a vast sandy beach, very diversified, with pools, bars, excellent restaurants,
world know windsurfing and bodyboard competitions.
- Praia da Maças - family oriented
- Ursa - next to Cabo da Roca difficult access, fantastic location,
with stunning rock formations, and sand - frequented by nudists and
does not offer life guards.

We found this terrific hideaway quite by accident
– by going to the wrong hotel – but what a fortunate accident
! Maria & Fernando are delightful; we have enjoyed the conversation,
the wonderful organic food, and, of course, the opportunity to relax in
a great home and gardens.
