My husband and I wanted a nice place to visit where we would have
a home base and feel as though we were a part of the country we were visiting
and this place really did the trick! We picked fruit off trees and ate it
- we had excellent conversation with our hosts - we got great advice about
where to go and what to see in Portugal and in all Europe. The accommodations
were wonderful and made us feel very much that we were having a Portuguese
experience rather than feeling like tourists."
